OUR STORY
Peerless Midwest was founded in 1973 by Bob Williams, Jack Chidister, and Tom Corcoran in a small shop in the then small community of Granger, Indiana. They opened the doors with just 11 employees, a few pieces of equipment, and a philosophy that taking care of their employees first and seeking controlled growth and long-term customer relationships would lead to long-term success.
Twenty-five years later, Jim and Mike Williams moved 56 employees and 36 pieces of major equipment into a new, 28,000 square foot, state-of-the-art headquarters, warehouse, and pump repair facility.
And in 2023, another twenty-five years later, we celebrated our 50th Anniversary. We’ve been employee-owned since 2021, and our CEO, Eric Irwin, now leads over 150 water supply, fire protection, and repair professionals working out of 6 offices in 4 states.
And while we embrace change to stay at the forefront of the newest technologies in our industry, we still look to the same business philosophy that has brought us to this point, to take us into the future. We think Bob, Jack and Tom would approve.
